YEA, I GOT BIT Yea, I got myself bit today. Breaking up a canine fracas - the nameless shall remain dogs to protect us from the innocent, was really my fault : in my determination to get a hold on one of the dogs, I consciously made a split second decision to get my hand around the only place possible at that moment : the mouth. It worked. I did get a hold of the dog, I did pay the price. Pretty good bite two puncture wounds, nice dramatic rivulet of blood. I got to be surrounded by the women of the park, attended to like some WW 1 soldier in an old romantic film. a victim of the Hun. Dogs are fine, no mental weirdness. I'm fine too.
New dogs : CHAMP a labradoodle who looks like an expensive Irish Wolfhound and VEGAS a winsome girl of six. I think they live together. TITAN who is somewhat new, a 5 or six year old handsome black and tan guy was there.
MADDIE made some of her best leaping ball catches yet : 2 or 3 while standing on the picnic table, and another one that was (finally) her most spectacular yet : in the classic Faith, Monty style. I'm really amazed at how determined she is to learn this leaping ball catch thing that her friends are so good at.
